Learning Through Play

At Holmesdale we strongly believe that all young children need opportunities to learn through play. We try to offer this to all our pupils from Reception to Year 2 as much as we can. Below is a link to a short video. The speaker is John Cleese who gave this now famous lecture in 1991 about play and playfulness. The lecture was to professionals and executives and was entitled 'Creative Management'. Have a listen and see just why play is so important for children to learn for their future.
